is a Stun Gun ?
A: A stun
gun is a hand held, electrical self defense device that uses
high voltage to stop an attacker. Touching a person with the
prongs on the gun quickly immobilizes the attacker by causing
intense pain and loss of muscle control. However, because
the amperage is very low, no serious or permanent injury is
inflicted. They are used by police departments, security agencies,
and individuals desiring protection against attack. They have
been proven to be an excellent defensive device as they have
incredible stopping power and yet remain non-lethal. Typically
they operate on one or two 9-volt batteries and range from
100,000 volts to 600,000 volts.
Q: What difference does
the voltage make ?
A: The higher the voltage, the more powerful the shock and
the quicker the attacker is immobilized. The higher the voltage,
the less time you have to contact the assailant to immobilize
them.
Q: Which ones do
you recommend ?
A: Most people should get either 500k, or 600k volts. These
are the most powerful units and will allow you to incapicitate
an assailant with the least amount of effort allowing you
to escape safely.

If the aggressor is touching me will I be Stunned ?
A: No. Even if the aggressor is physically touching you when
you fire the stun gun into them you can not suffer from a
charge back!

A: Yes. Stun guns are designed to be 100% effective even through
typical clothing.
