Q: Will
a stun gun work on those under the influence ?
A: Yes!
Stun guns do indeed work even on those under the influence
of alcohol or narcotics. A stun gun causes a great deal of
pain however it is more important to note that it is causing
the body tio have a chemical reaction. The voltage from a
stun causes the body to release lots and lots of lactic acid
into the muscles. This is similar to what happens when you
have a cramp except it is affecting a much larger area of
the body, is far more intense and lasts much longer.
The bottom line is, pain compliance is possible but what
you really want is for the assailant to not be able to get
up until after you have safely retreated and the person being
under the influence is not a factor when a stun gun is properly
used..
