The King Cobra Police stun gun uses two 9 volt batteries allowing it to last longer before needing to change batteries and providing a high output value. It is a convenient size (6 1/8" long x 3 1/4" wide x 1 1/8" thick).

The prongs on this model are further apart which allows for a greater contact area making this stun gun significantly more effective than other stun guns on the market that have the prongs close together.

The King Cobra Police Model produces a larg arc creating a very loud and intimidating popping noise when discharged in the air.

Q. What is a Stun Gun ?

A: A stun gun is a hand held, electrical self defense device that uses high voltage to stop an attacker. Touching a person with the prongs on the gun quickly immobilizes the attacker by causing intense pain and loss of muscle control. However, because the amperage is very low, no serious or permanent injury is inflicted. They are used by police departments, security agencies, and individuals desiring protection against attack. They have been proven to be an excellent defensive device as they have incredible stopping power and yet remain non-lethal. Typically they operate on one or two 9-volt batteries and range from 100,000 volts to 600,000 volts.

Q: What difference does the voltage make ?
A: The higher the voltage, the more powerful the shock and the quicker the attacker is immobilized. The higher the voltage, the less time you have to contact the assailant to immobilize them.

Q: Which ones do you recommend ?
A: Most people should get either 600k, or 800k volts as a minimum for self defense purposes. These will allow you to incapicitate an assailant with the least amount of effort in the shortest amount of time, allowing you to escape safely.

Q: If the aggressor is touching me will I be stunned ?
A: No. Even if the aggressor is physically touching you when you fire the stun gun into them you can not suffer from a charge back!

Q: Will a stun gun work through clothing ?
A: Yes. Stun guns are designed to be 100% effective even through typical clothing.

Q: Can a stun gun be fired multiple times ?
